Marie Curie nasceu em Varsóvia em 1867 e foi uma física e química polaca nacionalizada francesa, que foi pioneira no campo da radioatividade. Foi a primeira pessoa em receber dois prêmios Nobel em distintas especialidades: em física e em química. Também foi a primeira mulher em ocupar um posto de professora na Universidade de Paris [1].

On teaching science
